Men’s Ministry Sucia Island Boat/Camping Trip

Friday 4/26- Sunday 4/28

The Details:

1. We will be leaving from the dock at Point Hudson, PT aboard the Glacier Spirit on Friday at 4:00PM. This means you and your gear should already be aboard and stowed away before then. We need to be on time or we’ll be setting up tents in the dark.

2. IMPORTANT! The Men’s Ministry will provide lunch and dinner on Saturday, but you will need to bring your own food for the other meals: dinner Friday, breakfast Saturday, and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. We have plenty of room for coolers, and men’s events should always be times of great eating so bring a lot of food!

3. The Glacier Spirit will anchor near our campsite and we will then ferry everyone and their gear to shore via dinghy. The campsite has a covered group area, fire pits, potable water, and toilet facilities (see pics). We have plenty of room for gear aboard the boat and it’s a short distance from the beach to the campsite so you won’t need to worry about fitting everything in a backpack.

4. We will break camp, load up the boat and leave Sunday morning with the goal of arriving back in Port Townsend around lunchtime. If you have any questions contact: Christopher Hanke, Colin Aiken, Zach Barbieto, Calvin Lehman, Steve Stewart, or Hanson Rosenquist.
